St. Clair Woman Dies From Injuries in ATV Crash
A Franklin County woman seriously injured Saturday evening in an ATV crashed has died.
The Missouri Highway Patrol reported that Amy M. Erbes, 32, St. Clair, was pronounced dead about 5 p.m. Sunday at Mercy Hospital St. Louis, Creve Coeur.
Erbes was riding on a Can-Am ATV driven by Benjamin T. Erbes, 37, St. Clair, about 7 p.m. Saturday on Elmwood Church Road, 1.3 miles east of Highway 47, according to the preliminary patol report.
The vehicle ran off the right side ofthe road and struck a tree, the report states.
Benjamin Erbes sustained apparent moderate injuries and was taken by St. Clair ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis, the patrol said.
