A pre-1820 living history re-enactment of Missouri homefront activities will be held Saturday and Sunday, April 13 and 14, at Boone Monument Village in Marthasville.

Actors will portray the daily activities of Missouri valley settlers on the property surrounding Daniel Boone’s burial site.

The spring encampment will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

The interactive campsites will feature costumed interpreters who will demonstrate cooking, hunting, toy making and a live black-powder demonstration. Tours of the historic Dieckhaus-Stemme home will also be available throughout the day.

The property is located at 15226 Boone Monument Road.
