Due to inclement weather, the Washington School District has revised the 2013-14 academic calendar to account for seven missed school days.

Presidents Day has been added as a rescheduled day and the last day for students will now be Friday, May 30.

In addition, Wednesday, Jan. 29 will no longer be a modified day. All students will follow their regular school schedules.

Elementary students will be dismissed at 2:45 p.m., followed by high school students at 3:20 p.m. and middle school students at 3:25 p.m. Four Rivers Career Center will dismiss at 3:30 p.m.

The revised calendar is as follows:

• The Friday, Dec. 6, cancellation has been rescheduled for Presidents Day, Monday, Feb. 17.

• The Monday, Jan. 6, cancellation has been rescheduled for Thursday, April 17.

• The Tuesday, Jan. 7 cancellation has been rescheduled for Friday, May 23.

• The Wednesday, Jan. 8, cancellation has been rescheduled for Tuesday, May 27.

• The Thursday, Jan. 9, cancellation has been rescheduled for Wednesday, May 28.

• The Tuesday, Jan. 21, cancellation has been rescheduled for Thursday, May 29. All high school students will follow a modified day schedule that day. All other students will follow their regular school schedules.

• The Thursday, Jan. 23, cancellation has been rescheduled for Friday, May 30.

Additionally, Wednesday, May 21, has been added as an early release day. All students will follow an early release schedule that day.

Students and parents should continue to check the district website, www.washington.k12.mo.us, throughout the remainder of the school year for additional calendar revisions.
