A Union man was arrested Tuesday, Oct. 29, after admitting to driving while on meth and driving through a chainlink fence.
The 41-year-old man was driving a vehicle northbound on Independence Drive at 9:15 a.m. when the vehicle left the road and went through a section of fence at Silgan Plastic Food Containers, Union police said.
The man admitted to using meth and a blood sample was drawn for testing. He was arrested for careless and imprudent driving, and driving while drugged, police said.
A drug recognition evaluation was conducted on the man that determined he was impaired by stimulants. His name has not been released pending formal charges.
