Patrick Kelly, kdøyyh, was elected president of the Pacific Meramec Valley Amateur Radio Club (PMVARC) Dec. 20.
Tom Usher, kdøqkk, was re-elected vice president and Pauline Masson, wøpik, was elected to the combined office of secretary-treasurer.
Allan Sieker was elected to a three-year term as director.
The club operates a digital amateur radio repeater on Signal Hill, and serves as an emergency communication resource for the city of Pacific and the surrounding eastern Franklin County area.
The club has provided communication assistance for the Tri-County Senior Center 5K through Pacific, the 100-mile endurance race in the Mark Twain National Forest in Washington County and the recent solar eclipse in Pacific.
Kelly said he has a goal for the club to coordinate amateur radio exercises that will engage the general public.
The club meets at 7 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month at the Tri-County Senior Center, 700 W. Union St. The meetings are open to any interested parties.
